Those who were adolescents in the nineties certainly remember Carlo Vanzina’s Little Big Love, the film that in 1993, thanks to a famous slow-motion sequence (as he came out of the water by the sea) transformed a very young Raoul Bova into a sex symbol. In the film, the Roman actor – who will turn 51 on August 14 – played Marco, a simple boy with no money in his pocket who fell in love, in return, with a princess, Sofia, on the run from an imminent marriage of convenience. The story told in the film almost turned into reality when Bova got married – for real – in 2000 not with an actress or a model but with a normal woman, a veterinarian (Chiara Giordano), realizing the dream of all the fans of him. . Because Chiara, after all, was one of us.
