The bloody attack at a concert hall in the city of Krasnogorsk on the western outskirts of Moscow took place on March 22. Russian President Vladimir Putin did not address the nation until the next day. Now allegedly “rare footage” has appeared, which is supposed to prove that Putin dealt with the terrorist attack from the first minutes.

The Crocus City Hall shooting on Friday left at least 137 dead and nearly 200 injured. It is the deadliest such attack in Russia in a decade.
Putin, in a dark suit with a dark tie, did not speak to the Russians until the next day. Pro-regime journalist Pavel Zarubin from state television Rossiya 1 later posted on his account on the Telegram social network footage of Putin directing the hunt for attackers from the presidential office immediately after the terrorist attack. The state agency RIA Novosti also wrote about it.
“The necessary instructions are given. Putin is supervising every step of the investigation,” reads the journalist’s comment. Meanwhile, Putin says on the phone that there are no changes or that eleven people have been detained. Then, wearing the same clothes, he gives his speech on Saturday about the fact that the terrorists should have fled to Ukraine, where the Russians have been conducting their aggression for the third year.
The footage also flashes the technology on which Putin could have filmed his speech to the nation. Ukrainian news site Glavkom asks why Putin is dressed the same all day? And he speculates there may be three answers.
The first is that the news of the attack reached him at his workplace and he stayed in his office almost the whole day without changing his clothes.
He could also record the “first minutes and hours” after the attack, as well as the addressing of the Russians at the same time. However, for some reason, the Kremlin decided to postpone the address to the nation until another day. The third reason is that the propagandists’ “unique shots” are staged and have nothing to do with reality. And the only reason is the effort to show Putin as a kind of “father of the Russian nation” who works continuously in the interests of the people.

According to Glavkom, it is worth noting that a few hours before the attack, propagandists published a video of a meeting between Putin and members of the Russian Security Council. On it, Putin “in a dark gray-blue suit and colorful tie discussed measures against the spread of neo-Nazi ideas.”
Putin made an official statement nearly 20 hours after the attack. It was first announced that his speech would be at night. But then it was cancelled. Even before any official information was released, some Russian politicians began to blame Ukraine for the attack, BBC News Ukraine reported.
