The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Saturday that the Russian army’s air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 12 Ukrainian drones.
According to a statement by the ministry, “Last night, attempts by the Kiev regime to carry out attacks on targets on Russian territory were confronted using aircraft-type drones,” noting that “the air defense forces were able to shoot down 5 air drones over the Bryansk province and the same number.” One over Belgorod Province, one over Voronezh Province and one over Saratov Province.”
On an almost daily basis, Ukrainian forces target the Russian border areas in the provinces of Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, Rostov, and the Crimean Peninsula, with drones and missiles.
