Kyiv: 25 people were killed in a Russian airstrike on a civilian center in Ukraine, the Associated Press News Agency reported. There was a shell attack on the convoy in South Zaporizhia. 28 people were injured. All are civilians. Meanwhile, a pro-Kremlin official in the Russian-occupied region of Zaporizhia blamed Ukraine for the attack.
Zaporizhia is one of four regions that held a referendum last week to join Russia. In another incident, an officer appointed by Moscow was killed in an attack by Ukrainian forces in the Russian-controlled southern Ukrainian region of Kurson. A rocket fell on the house where he lived.
