The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday morning that its forces neutralized 47 Ukrainian drones in the skies of four Russian provinces, most of them over Rostov, during the past night.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a brief statement that, “During the night, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out an attack using 47 drones on targets in Russia’s territory was thwarted.”
The statement added, “The air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed drones over the territory of Belgorod (1 march), Kursk (2 marches), Volgograd (3 marches), and Rostov (41 marches) provinces.”
Earlier, Rostov Governor Vasily Golubev stated that an intense attack by marches on the city of Taganrog had been repelled, noting that one of the emergency personnel who participated in removing the effects of the attack on the ground had been injured and taken to the hospital in a non-life-threatening condition.
In Kursk, district governor Roman Starovoit reported that the debris of a Ukrainian march fell on the roof of a clinic, without causing any casualties, but due to the danger of explosion, patients and staff were evacuated from the intensive care unit located in a nearby building.
