Moscow: The mysterious man who shot dead 13 people including 7 students in a school in Russia shot himself with a gun.
A thousand km from Moscow, the capital of Russia. In the distance is the city of Izavsk. It is the capital of Udmurtia province and has a population of around 6.3 lakh. A mysterious person entered a school hall in this city yesterday and shot the people there blindly with his gun.
Subsequently, the students and staff were evacuated from there in a hurry.
Police investigation
In this regard, the governor of the province, Alexander Prachalov, made a statement via video, “13 people, including 7 students and 2 teachers, were killed when a mysterious person opened fire at the Izavsk city school. 21 seriously injured people have been admitted to the hospital. The assailant also committed suicide by firing a gun. The police who rushed to the spot are collecting clues and conducting investigations,” he said.
Condemnation of President Putin
Meanwhile, President Vladimir Putin said that the shooting incident was an inhumane act and wished the injured a speedy recovery, according to the spokesperson of the Presidential Palace.
Also, the provincial governor has said that mourning will be observed for this incident till 29th.
