Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and former prisoner of war Nadezhda Savchenko, as well as her sister Vera, are suspected of using fake coronavirus vaccination certificates. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky on his Facebook.

According to the official, Nadezhda Savchenko and her sister received official suspicion for using a forged certificate with which they tried to enter Ukraine.

Before that, the Ukrainian National Police announced the initiation of a criminal case against Nadiya Savchenko for forging documents. Under this article of the Ukrainian Criminal Code, she could face a fine, arrest for up to six months, or restraint of liberty for up to two years. This, by the way, is far from the first such criminal case: currently, 59 criminal cases have been initiated in Ukraine on the facts of falsification of the results of PCR tests or vaccination certificates.
