– I generally like to write to music. My sound background is varied, starting with the group “Give me a tank (!)”. This is our kind of alternative rock, I really like it. Some of the lyrics, to my surprise, directly resonated with the events of the book, and they were described before I heard the songs. I also put on upbeat electronic music to energize myself before sitting down to the battle scenes. The battle of superbeings is of course a certain challenge. It’s very easy to fall into a comic bookishness that completely destroys the reader’s trust. It seems to me that I did not fall and the events, despite the scale and complexity of the description, remain realistic. There are markers in the text indicating that the hero is moving into some kind of inhuman state, where the time of the story seems to change.
