“I was afraid to send the composers my version of the song, but their reactions were exciting. I came to pay tribute to them and to the female sector, and to bring back to consciousness a song that was unknown,” she says. The song is cool in the female version. There is no doubt that it came from within because you went through your solo. A beautiful musical production, and also the clip and the beautiful “(Kobi Oshret).
It’s time to reveal that Noa Tzafrir did not dream as a child, to be a squadron when she grows up. This is despite the fact that she is the eldest daughter of the pilot Col. (Res.) Gil Tzafrir, who has a record of 30 years of service in various positions in the Air Force, including the corps’ chief technologist. Would come home with the flight suit, and go water the garden. Three years ago everything suddenly soared. Deep in the world of acting (movies, commercial theater) Noa’s parents gave her a unique birthday present: an introductory flight. “I was in shock. Suddenly I discovered a new world from a bird’s point of view. At the end of the flight, I called my parents and announced ‘Houston, we have a problem. I want to fly,'” she says.
The civil flight course lasted about a year and a half, most of it in the days of the Corona. At first it took off in a two-seater Cessna plane, and later it converted to Cessna with four seats. “I found similarities between the theater and the flight. On stage we make an accurate navigation axis, moving from point A to point B. Like in flight. When I navigate I can not deviate from my axis and invade another place,” Tzafrir explains. A few months ago, Noa Tzafrir received her pilot’s license: “I passed a test with a first blow.”
Who flew with you on the maiden flight?
“Of course I kept the first flight to my dad. It was very exciting. I was stressed, my dad was a voice. And as is customary in the Air Force I did with Dad a briefing before the flight and an investigation after it. Honestly I did not feel like talking to my dad, but to Col. Is there an increase in the number of squadrons?

For example, out of a fleet of 70 pilots there are only two squadrons. When I was in a pilot course, although I felt completely equal to boys, out of the 90 trainees we were only two trainees. “
When the singer is a squadron and vice versa, and as the wings of the 184th pilot course approached, Noa Tzafrir recorded the song “Solo in the Sky”. And sent the clip to various elements in the Air Force. The song in its female version and performance was not played at the Wings Order last weekend, but former Chief of Staff and Air Force Commander Lt. Col. (Res.) Dan Halutz shared the clip with the song that incorporates excerpts from her solo flight and wrote “Better Than Me.”
On the last Independence Day, at the end of the Air Force flight, Tzafrir participated in the civilian flight. The day before Memorial Day, she finished her performance as an actress and singer at the Memorial Day ceremony, and hurried to a briefing ahead of her participation in the civilian flight that flew the next day along the country’s shores, initiated and co-sponsored by Moon Air. The civilian plane did not pass over Hebron, but took off in a converged structure of eight planes in a low flight along the coast of the country, to Be’er Sheva, landed in the Yemen field and back next to each young pilot sat a veteran Air Force instructor. “Pilot Avishai Erel flew with me. At one point I had to go back to eating meat because my body fell apart.
