According to the Hindustan Times, Seoul’s Seongnam Court on Friday (March 15) found Yang Soo guilty. The court sentenced the actor to 8 months imprisonment. The veteran actor has also been ordered to attend a 40-hour special class on sexual harassment.
However, despite being found guilty by the court’s verdict, Yang-soo denied the charges. He informed about the decision of the appeal in the high court.
In 2017, an actress filed a sexual harassment complaint against Young Soo. She complained, and Yang-soo forcibly hugged her, grabbed her hand and kissed her on the cheek.
In 2021, Young-soo became known around the world for playing the role of Il-nam in the Netflix series ‘Squid Game’. The 79-year-old actor won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2022 for this series. The second season of the ‘Squid Game’ series is about to arrive after almost three years.
