Cabaret artist, presenter and great traveler, Syusy the Pale (whose real name is Maurizia Giusti) gave a long interview to Corriere della Sera, in which he talked about his new life plans. But not only. The editor and author of the magazine Tourists by chance she explained that, despite the fact that it is over with her husband Patrizio Roversi, their working collaboration continues.
The couple separated in 2002, after twenty years of love: “We continue to work together as always, being in society together. We are parents, we are friends, we are colleagues. In short, we are very close but free to lead our lives ”, he began. Then: “Our secret was to tell the places lightly and with the eyes of the tourist-traveler, while always trying to deepen. Of course, this cannot be done if you travel only to respond to those who pay you and send you on a commission basis, ”he said.
But there is another love, very great, which continues even today: that for his Bologna, where it was born in 1952. “The attraction of Rome or Milan is strong – he explained – but we have always remained in Bologna because we are convinced that we are in a place we like, in a more contained situation”. Blady then dreams of a project to be carried out in the Emilian capital, that is a Travel festival: “It would also be a way to provide content to academics [..] Here it is full of kids, there has always been a not-so-peaceful relationship with the students. On the one hand you rent the house and on the other you don’t want them to fill the city ”. Finally he concluded: “Bologna is young thanks to young people. However, it is necessary to involve them, to give them culture“.
