Bangladesh is scheduled to tour Zimbabwe to play 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs. The Bangladesh team was announced for this. Mahmudullah, who served as captain in T20 matches, has been given a break. Nurul Hasan has been appointed as the captain of the T20 against Zimbabwe. Mahmudullah’s captaincy was not satisfactory to the management and Nurul Hasan has been given a chance.
Mahmudullah last captained Bangladesh in the T20I series in the West Indies. Mushfiqur Rahim was not featured in the ODI and T20I series. Fast bowler Hasan Mahmood has been included in the ODI squad.
At the same time Epadod Hossein failed to retain his position. Shakib Al Hasan was not included in the series. He looks set to return for the Asia Cup.
