Tamar Petroleum – Appointment of interim CEO

Tamar Petroleum’s Board of Directors decided on Thursday, December 30, 2001, to appoint the member of the Board of Directors as interim CEO Mr. Tamir Abodi. Tamir has financial expertise and rich managerial and business experience in the energy market, having previously served in the US as president of the Oil and Gas Company.

Prior to his involvement in the oil and gas fields, Tamir served as CEO and Chief Financial Officer of a group of companies, one of which was traded on the Nasdaq and as a partner in the accounting firm Fahan Kana Grant Thornton.
