Tamil cinema got various blockbuster hits in 2022. Thus, this year has been a successful year for Kollywood. As this is the last week of the year, 8 films are releasing in theaters and 5 Tamil films in OTD this weekend. Let’s see what they are in this collection.
Films releasing theatrically
Trisha’s Rangi, Sunny Leone’s Oh My Ghost, Aishwarya Rajesh’s Driver Jamuna and Kovai Sarala’s Sembi are releasing in Tamil cinema on December 30. Apart from this, four small budget films namely College Road, Arua Chanda, Shakuntala’s Lover and Last Love Story are also slated to hit the screens.

Movies released in OTD
As far as OTD is concerned, 5 Tamil films are releasing this week. Out of which four films are released as post-theatrical release and only one film as direct OTT release. Accordingly, Nayanthara’s Gold, Vijay Sethupathi starrer DSP, Vishnu Vishal’s Katta Kusti and Atharva’s Pattathu Arasan are all four post-theater releases. In this, Kata Gusti is releasing on January 1, Gold on December 29 and other films are releasing on December 30.
