Toni Kroos impressed in his DFB comeback. His flock is currently not available at Adidas for the European Championship jerseys – that’s why.
The DFB team, with returning Toni Kroos, won against France on Saturday evening (2-0). The 2014 world champion was convincing and gave his teammates a lot of security. The Real Madrid star was strong in tackles and a communicator on the pitch. National coach Julian Nagelsmann enthused: “Toni Kroos was unbelievable. He set the pace and worked incredibly hard.”
Nagelsmann explained: “He gives the other players so much security. You can always play to him, he is extremely calm. The ball is always in good hands with Toni.” Many fans are also happy that the DFB star is back. This can also be seen in the jersey sales for the upcoming home European Championship.
Kroos jersey “sold twice as many as any other”
Björn Gulden, CEO of Adidas, told “Bild” on Tuesday: “The day after the presentation of the new jerseys, Toni Kroos’s jerseys sold twice as many as any other.”
Anyone who currently wants to secure one of the European Championship jerseys with Kroos flock in the Adidas online shop will come away empty-handed. The sentence appears there: “Sorry, 8 is not available at the moment. Please try again tomorrow or use a different number.”
But why is that? Quite simply: the number 8 jersey is currently not in stock. Probably because the demand is too high. In response to a WhatsApp query regarding the Kroos jerseys, Adidas customer service said: “They should be back in stock very soon. Normally it takes 14 to 21 days for the stock to be replenished.”
A “not available” message regarding the European Championship jersey also appears in the Adidas online shop if, for example, you want to select Jamal Musiala or Florian Wirtz as a flock. In addition, the names of other DFB professionals such as Marc-André ter Stegen or Maximilian Mittelstädt cannot currently be selected as a flock option.
