The non-working days in the Pskov region will end on November 8, the authorities decided not to extend the restrictions. The governor of the region, Mikhail Vedernikov, announced this in his Instagram.

“On November 8 in the Pskov region the non-working day regime ends. For two weeks we lived under severe restrictions. <...> These forced measures have yielded results, ”the governor wrote.

At the same time, the QR-code system will continue to operate in the region. In addition, upon check-in, guests will be required to have a vaccination certificate or negative test for COVID-19. Individuals over the age of 60 are still required to self-isolate.

Earlier, regional authorities said that the QR code system would be in effect until the New Year. The system of QR codes in the Pskov region operates in restaurants and cafes, leisure facilities, fitness clubs and swimming pools.

Over the past day, 292 new cases of coronavirus were detected in the Pskov region. In total, 59,756 people were infected during the COVID-19 pandemic.
