Rabbi Dov Glostein, who lost his children and his wife in the fatal bus accident in Jerusalem a week ago, today said goodbye to the staff of Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital and thanked the doctors for their treatment, after his 5-year-old daughter Shani, who survived the accident, was released from it.
The aunts of the 5-year-old girl said: “Sheni was run over by the bus and trapped under it. She crawled on her own even though she was hurt and left alone, and didn’t understand what happened and where her family was. A true hero of ours.”
“Thank you for helping my daughter. Continue to act and always help everyone who comes to the hospital gates” the father thanked the hospital staff.
The Glostein family lost their mother Shoshana, who was in advanced pregnancy, and their daughters Sarah and Hannah in the accident.

“Many thanks to the department heads and the many professors who greeted us when we came for consultation and then treatment, with wonderful dedication,” acknowledged the father, “everyone that cannot be listed because they are many, our blessing that they will always continue to benefit and help all who come through the hospital gates.”
The hospital reported that “due to an orthopedic injury, Shani was treated by a team of orthopedic surgeons from Hadassah who performed a procedure to fix her injured leg, this after extensive consultation by the orthopedic specialists at Hadassah.”

As a reminder, the members of the Glostein family were killed last Thursday in an accident that occurred on Shamgar Street in Jerusalem, when Egged bus line 402 rolled towards the station – according to the estimate after the driver got down to close the trunk and forgot to apply the handbrake.
