Chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market Anatoly Aksakov (“Fair Russia”) proposed not to issue maternity capital and other benefits for Russians with high wages. The first deputy chairman of the United Russia faction, Andrei Isaev, did not support the initiative.
“If people receive high wages, conditionally a deputy, then they do not need to pay maternity capital of 500 thousand rubles, or provide any benefits related to family capital, associated with the birth of a child, and so on. He will be able to pay the additional costs anyway. Why would an oligarch give out material aid? ”Mr. Aksakov told Ura.ru.
According to the deputy, it is necessary to cancel support measures for those who receive more than 5 million rubles. a year, “although it could have been less.” He suggested starting with 5 million rubles and then lowering the threshold to 3 million rubles.
The first deputy head of the United Russia faction, Andrei Isaev, said that the idea of abolishing the mother capital for some citizens was not discussed in the faction, but he personally does not support it. “Are there many young families … whose average per capita income is over 5 million? How many people are we talking about? But after the introduction of such a restriction, everyone will have to hand over income certificates, ”Mr. Isaev told RIA Novosti.
