The investigation by the Internal Affairs Unit of a police officer assigned to the National Court has given a boost with the analysis of the mobile phone seized from the agent. In the terminal, according to sources close to the investigation, the police officer kept evidence of his alleged collaboration with several law firms whose clients were being investigated in the specialized court where he worked.
On June 13, Internal Affairs arrested the agent, assigned to the Judicial Police Unit attached to the National Court (UPJAN), which assists the different investigative courts. The thread to reach the agent was an investigation for drug trafficking and money laundering against some Syrian citizens and her lawyer, a Spanish woman accused as an active member of the organization in the judicial case that was born against her clients.
