Were you excited about Batman’s new movie? If so, in a few months you will find yourself once again in the crime-ridden Gotham city, and this time in an open-world-style game from the creator of WB Games Montreal. The game, dubbed the Gotham Knights, will be released for consoles and PCs on October 25, after being postponed for a year by the company.
The game, first unveiled at the DC FanDome in 2020, will allow the player to take over various characters from the world of “Batman”, even if not the Dark Knight himself – Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin and the Red Hood. The game will also include an option for a multiplayer game, in which the player will collaborate with another player in order to advance in the plot.
As mentioned, the new date comes about a year and a half after the original launch date, which was March 19, 2021. Then, a few months before its official release, the company claimed more time was needed “to provide the best gaming experience for the players”.
