Dusseldorf Rising prices please those who are already invested in a title. Everyone else who has been hesitant so far may have to watch potential investment targets becoming more and more expensive when the stock markets are good. In the case of the leading German index, however, even after the rally of the past few weeks and months, stocks can still be found that are considered undervalued.
Handelsblatt financial market analyst Ulf Sommer identified these companies. Among them: BASF, Volkswagen, RWE, Fresenius and Deutsche Bank. They have up to three times more equity than the market value and could therefore pass as a bargain. But investors should be aware that every valuation discount has a reason.
