Authorities are on the trail of individuals involved in two crimes, one in Coconut Grove and another in Miami Gardens.

At an establishment in the Coconut Grove neighborhood of Miami, a woman was the victim of theft while enjoying her food.

The incident, which took place in a well-known cafe called “Le Pain Quotidien”, located on the main highway 3425, was captured by security cameras.

The footage shows two people tampering with the victim’s table and chair before stealing her mobile phone and later cash and cards from her purse, which was hanging behind her chair.

The victim, who did not notice the robbery until later, expressed her desolation and the feeling of vulnerability that the event left her, according to statements she offered to local media.

On the other hand, in Miami Gardens, a supermarket was the scene of another cunning robbery. A man, pretending to make a money transfer, managed to trick an employee and steal $3,000.

The criminal used a distraction technique while counting the money, hiding part of it and delivering a smaller amount than agreed upon.

The supermarket has reported that, as a result of the incident, they have modified their money transfer procedures and hope that those responsible will be caught soon.

Both cases are being investigated and authorities are asking for citizen collaboration to locate the suspects. Police asked the community to report any information they have about these two robberies in Miami-Dade.

“If you have any information about any of these robberies, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.”sentenced.
