French justice is investigating an alleged case of influence peddling, which affects a former vice president of the French National Assembly, who was able to maneuver so that PSG obtained tax advantages in the payment of the clause of 222 million euros to Barcelona to register Neymar in 2017.

According to several media outlets, investigators have extensive telephone exchanges between the former vice president of the National Assembly, Hugues Renson, of the president’s party, Emmanuel Macronand a senior manager of PSG, its then communications director Jean-Martial Ribes.
