tiguidanké: My motivation stemmed from the theme of this year’s competition: “Investing in women, agents of economic change.” I believe in the power of women to lead transformative change in society. By participating, I wanted to raise awareness about women’s roles in our economy and inspire other young women to pursue their dreams.

Tiguidanké: It’s a fantastic indicator of progress! This large turnout showcases the desire of women across Guinea to share their voices and be active participants in society. It reflects a growing recognition of the importance of women’s contributions to economic and social growth. The more we see women’s involvement, the more we can break down barriers.
Editor: You also impressed the jury with your eloquence, elegance, and charisma. How did you prepare for the competition,both mentally and physically?
Tiguidanké: Readiness was multifaceted. I focused on physical fitness to ensure I felt my best on stage. Mentally, I practiced public speaking and expressed my thoughts on issues important to me. I wanted to be authentic, so I reflected on personal experiences and how they shaped my views on the role of women in society.
Editor: You mentioned the support of fellow contestants. What was the atmosphere like during the competition?
Tiguidanké: The atmosphere was truly festive and supportive. Even though we were all competitors,we celebrated each other’s strengths.It felt more like a community of women striving for change than a rivalry.That camaraderie was precious and made the experience even more enjoyable.

Tiguidanké: I’m excited to take on this responsibility! My main goal is to advocate for women’s empowerment, focusing on education and economic opportunities.
