At the popular jewelry pawn shop in Perambalur Venkatesapuram, last Feb. On the 16th he sold counterfeit gold coins and swindled money.
In this connection, it was revealed that Balamurugan (30) from Chettikulam, Varadarajan (33) from Ladapuram, Prabhu (53) from Perambalur and Suresh (33) from Esanai Pappangarai were involved.
Following this, Varadarajan and Balamurugan were arrested by the Perambalur police on the 24th of last month and remanded in custody. Suresh and Prabhu involved in this case were the masterminds.
Under the circumstances, Suresh and Prabhu were arrested by the police on Wednesday night. Of these, Suresh Perambalu was arraigned at the Criminal Arbitration Court and remanded in custody. Due to the increase in blood pressure, Prabhu is receiving treatment at the Trichy Government Hospital.
