Unfortunately one person died due to electrocution

A resident was unfortunately electrocuted when he touched a high tension power line near the building where the training sessions were held.

Only one person died while carrying an iron pipe to the building where training classes were held behind Kuliapitiya City Hall.

A 28-year-old man named Vimukti Dilshan Perera, who worked in a training course in that building, died.

The police are investigating the incident.
