Amid growing political embarrassment for the White House, US President Joe Biden’s aides have discovered a new batch of classified government records in a second location.
The first batch of documents used by Biden after he was vice president was discovered in a private office in Washington, DC.
The matter is under review by the US Department of Justice.

It is not yet clear when and where the additional files were discovered by Python assistants.
A batch of about 10 documents was discovered in November at the Penn Biden Center, a think tank near the White House. However, the matter only came to light this week.
The documents are said to contain US intelligence memos and briefing materials on Ukraine, Iran and Britain.
The White House has yet to comment on the newly discovered files. Earlier on Wednesday, White House press secretary Karine Jeanpierre declined to answer questions about the discovery of the first batch of files during a daily press briefing.
“It is under judicial review. “I cannot say anything beyond what the president said yesterday,” he said.
Joe Biden said Tuesday that he was “surprised” to discover the files and was “cooperating” with the Justice Department’s review.
The Council Oversight Committee has launched investigations into the Chancellor and his family. This includes requests to hand over documents and communications related to classified White House files.
The law requires all White House records, including classified documents, to be turned over to the U.S. National Archives after an administration’s term in office.
Last August, when FBI agents raided Donald Trump’s home in Florida, they seized more than 10,000 files that Trump had failed to turn over to the National Archives.
Before FBI agents arrived at Mar-a-Lago, the Department of Justice issued an order to return the classified files.
More than 300 classified documents, including 18 classified as top secret, were recovered from a golf club in Palm Beach.
Once the documents were recovered, Biden’s lawyers notified the National Archives and turned them over the next morning, according to the White House.
