Apple is launching a new service called ‘Self Service Repair’ (Do It Yourself) for its users. This new service paves the way for repairing Apple devices. Apple has said that it has plans to make and sell products for this.
Apple has stated that the repair can be done with the manual given on the website. The first phase is to supply about 200 parts and tools.
Apple claims that users can replace basic components such as displays and batteries. It is reported that users can get parts of Apple iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 on this service. Apple has announced that in the coming days, users will be able to change the components of the ‘Mac’ devices. Apple has announced that the service will be available to users early next year.
In countries around the world such as the United States, the United Kingdom and the European condom, users were guided by technology manufacturers to repair their devices in the Do It Yourself manner.
