One person was killed and five others injured when a four-story parking garage in Lower Manhattan collapsed for unknown reasons, New York firefighters said.
The parking garage, built in 1957, is a four-story structure that stands above ground (as is customary in New York, with no underground levels) and is located on Ann Street, next to the private PACE University.
