15h45 : Yesterday, Russia accused the Ukrainian army of executing more than ten Russian soldiers who had surrendered, denouncing a “war crime”. The videos of this scene have been “entrusted to specialists” to ensure their authenticity, replies today the Ukrainian general staff. Asked by AFP, a UN spokesperson said: “We are aware of these videos and are reviewing them”. He stressed that, where appropriate, the culprits must be held accountable.

16h28 : The new British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, is in kyiv for an unannounced visit. “Since the first days of the war, Ukraine and the United Kingdom have been the most powerful allies”comments the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, on Telegram, where he shares images of their meeting.
16h20 : The Spanish government announces the dispatch of 14 new electric generators to Ukraine, in response to Russian attacks against the country’s energy infrastructure. Yesterday kyiv asked the European Union for a “additional support” as winter approaches.
14h09 : “Poland’s decision (…) is provocative and unprecedented”, protested Russian diplomacy the day after Warsaw’s decision to refuse Sergei Lavrov entry into its territory. The Russian Foreign Minister wanted to go, at the beginning of December, to a meeting of the heads of diplomacy of the various countries of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Lodz. Poland believes that the Russian delegation cannot include people sanctioned by the EU.
16h16 : According to a study by the American University of Yale (Connecticut), 226 people were victims of extrajudicial detentions or enforced disappearances in Kherson during the Russian occupation. Half “does not appear to have been released”says the report of the Conflict Observatory, a research group supported by American diplomacy.
16h15 : NATO has denounced the attitude of two Russian fighter planes which “approached dangerously and unprofessionally” Alliance ships carrying out a routine operation in the Baltic Sea. The incident took place on Tuesday. Russia did not comment on it.
16h13 : Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky yesterday brushed off the idea of a ceasefire with Russia, yesterday: “Russia is now looking for a short truce, a respite to regain strength. This could be seen as the end of the war, but such a respite will only make the situation worse”he said during a videoconference intervention at an international forum on security in Canada. “A truly real, lasting and honest peace can only come from the complete destruction of Russian aggression”he added.
