As proof of the dynamics that the high-tech sector has developed in Epirus, the Region of Epirus interprets the strong interest in participating in the Beyond Expo International Exhibition of Digital Technology and Innovation, which will take place from April 25 to 27 in Thessaloniki.
The Region of Epirus will participate for the first time with its own stand at the exhibition and twelve companies and the Algorithms Technology Laboratory of the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics of the University of Ioannina responded to the public invitation it sent.
“The expression of interest from high-tech and innovation companies that was found exceeded our initial expectations and justifies the choice for the Region of Epirus to participate for the first time in an organized manner in the International Exhibition of Thessaloniki”, states the regional governor, Alexandros Kahrimanis, in his statement, expressing his satisfaction for the entries from Epirus. He adds: “Businesses will have the opportunity to present their actions, exchange ideas in the ever-evolving field of technologies and hold important B2B & B2G meetings. The expression of interest that has existed justifies our constant pursuit to proceed in every possible way with the creation of the High Technology and Research Center, in order to house both companies, which are currently active in Epirus, as well as others, which are to be created in the coming years in fastest growing branch of technologies”.
