In the village of Oresh, municipality of Svishtov, an emergency emergency repair was started on the main street, which is seriously affected by landslides. The project is worth BGN 354,000 and includes construction and installation works to strengthen the street, which is unfit for normal traffic and endangers the safety of residents in the settlement, the municipality states. The problematic terrain of the main road and entrance to the village of Oresh is also the right bank of Oreshko Dere. A retaining wall will be built to stop the landslide. The funds for the construction and assembly works are provided by the state budget for the implementation of the Investment Program of the municipality of Svishtov, the local administration specifies.
The slope of the gully will be reinforced with gabions and a new concrete trough under the existing facility. Before that, the gully and its adjacent slopes will be cleaned of waste and vegetation; mechanized and manual excavation will be carried out to form the profile and formwork will be made for laying concrete and underlay concrete for retaining walls and trough. Bitumen waterproofing is also planned.
The term of execution of the construction and assembly works under the contract is 6 months.
