News from Angola – The app-based transport service company, Yango, has released an anthem dedicated to the 34th edition of the African Cup of Nations (CAN’2023), taking place in Côte d’Ivoire.
The initiative falls within the scope of its regional campaign called “Viaja pelo momento”, with the song titled “YANGOOOAL” and promotes a competition through social media.

According to a statement from the carrier that Notícias de Angol had access to today, for this purpose, participants must record a video singing the song, in which they show their love for African football.
According to company director Ivan Mugimbo, Angola’s participation in the biggest celebration of African football is “flooding” the country with incredible energy.
“In this historic participation of the National Team, music has played a fundamental role”, he pointed out.
The note also highlights, in the words of the person responsible, “the famous Gibelé column and the dance steps of our players before matches, show how we are a people full of rhythm and joy. It is precisely this strength that conveys Yango’s anthem.”
The song was written and performed by Ivorian pop artist Shado Chris and rapper Paulo Chakal, the report reads.
Yango operates in more than 20 countries in Africa, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East.
