Young director Manu James (31) passed away in Kumilangad Chirathidham. Died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Aluva due to jaundice. He is the director of ‘Nancy Rani’ starring Ahana Krishnakumar, Arjun Ashokan, Aju Varghese, Sunny Wayne, Lena, Lal etc. Unexpected death happened when the film was about to release.
Manu James started acting as a child star in the 2004 film ‘I Am Curious’ directed by Sabu James and later worked as a co-director in Malayalam, Kannada, Bollywood and Hollywood. He is the son of James Jose in Kumilangad Chiratthidam and Cecily James in Etumanur Plathotam. Wife is Naina Manu James of Pittappill, Kandanad. Siblings Minna James and Phillip James. Sister-in-law: Karimannur Kuttiyatmalil Naveen James. The cremation will be held today at Kurilangad.
