In 1980, Carlo Verdone’s first film as a director arrived in cinemas, “A beautiful lot”, a film that over the years has become a cult of Italian comedy thanks to its iconic characters, many of whom played by Verdone himself (at the time a veteran from the great success of the television variety Non stop).
