A private helicopter from Bangalore to Kochi landed in the Kadampur hills near Satyamangalam due to inclement weather.
Bharat, a native of Bangalore, flew by helicopter to take his ailing wife to a hospital in Kochi. The helicopter was flying over the Kadampur hills in Satyamangalam in Erode district when it did not receive a clearing signal due to fog and bad weather. The pilot Jaspal then landed the helicopter on a farm in the Kadampur hills.

The hill villagers were shocked to see the helicopter landing on the farmland. Upon closer inspection, they were relieved to find that all four passengers in the helicopter had landed safely. Kadampur police rushed to the spot and conducted an investigation.
