Gold prices have been fluctuating since early March last year. Yesterday the price of gold rose by Rs.160 per sawan, today it has decreased slightly.

Accordingly, the price of jewelery in Chennai has decreased by Rs. 40 to Rs. 49,600. Gold is selling at Rs 6,200 per gram, down by Rs 5. Silver prices fell by 30 paise to Rs 80.50 per gram.
