Kerala Covid Cases 26 March 2022: 4051 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment.

Kerala Covid Cases 26 March 2022: Kovid-19 confirmed for 496 persons in Kerala. Outbreaks were reported in Ernakulam 138, Thiruvananthapuram 70, Kottayam 56, Kozhikode 43, Pathanamthitta 40, Kollam 29, Thrissur 29, Alappuzha 22, Kannur 19, Idukki 15, Malappuram 11, Palakkad 10, Wayanad 10 and Kasaragod 4 districts.

16,883 samples were tested during the last 24 hours.

There are currently 14,838 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 14,412 are under home / institutional quarantine and 426 in hospitals. A total of 71 people were newly admitted to the hospital.

Currently, out of 4051 Kovid cases, only 12 per cent are admitted to hospitals / field hospitals.

No deaths have been confirmed in the last 24 hours due to Kovid-19. In addition, three deaths were reported in the previous days due to late receipt of documents and 138 deaths due to appeal by the Central Government under the new guidelines of the Supreme Court. This brings the total death toll in the state to 67,772.

Today, 3 of the confirmed cases are from outside the state. 462 people were infected through contact. The contact source of 26 people is not clear. Five health workers were affected by the disease.

693 people who were diagnosed and treated were cured. Thiruvananthapuram 113, Kollam 27, Pathanamthitta 50, Alappuzha 5, Kottayam 61, Idukki 62, Ernakulam 172, Thrissur 61, Palakkad 8, Malappuram 19, Kozhikode 58, Wayanad 34, Kannur 21 and Kasaragod 2 were cured. With this, 4051 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. 64,57,993 have so far been released from Kovid.
