In a publication dated today at 7:35 am, Rufina Velázquez, his daughter, let the international community know that Ramón Jesús “He remains unjustly and unconstitutionally imprisoned.”

Daughter of the Cuban patriot who stood in El Cobre sends a letter to several Human Rights organizations
Rufina Velazquez, who is a US citizen, daughter of Mr. Ramón Jesús Velázquez Toranzo, sent a letter to Human Rights organizations to make her father’s case visible.

“After his arrest, he was detained by state security agents in an unknown location for a week. “Officials did not notify my family of his location or well-being until March 17, when they informed us that he was in Villa Marista, the main detention center of the State Security forces, in Havana.”
“My father has been on a hunger strike since the day of his arrest and on Monday he was transferred to the Carlos J. Finlay military hospital due to his delicate and deteriorating state of health. We have already had a formation, he is back in Villa Marista”, Rufina details in the writing.
She states that State Security has given her father the choice of being deported to the United States and never returning to Cuba, but he refuses to accept it.
“My father is a man of principles, and as is his right and legal status as a Cuban citizen, he has not accepted this forced exile,” Indian.

Trump mentioned that “Under Cuba’s brutal and corrupt dictators, the Cuban people are suffering terrible food shortages, energy blackouts, poverty, political repression and religious persecution“.
