Programme. Criticized for his lack of a project so far, the outgoing President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, is due to unveil his program on Thursday afternoon. He will hold a press conference from 3 p.m. in Aubervilliers (Seine-Saint-Denis).
Hospital. Two years to the day after the first confinement, six candidates will defend their hospital and health programs during a “grand oral” organized by the French Hospital Federation. Anne Hidalgo, Yannick Jadot, Marine Le Pen, Valérie Pécresse, Fabien Roussel and Eric Zemmour will follow one another on the stage of a theater in the 13e district of Paris. Emmanuel Macron will be represented by the Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, and Jean-Luc Mélenchon does not participate due to lack of availability. Nathalie Arthaud, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, Jean Lassalle and Philippe Poutou were not invited.
Sport. Just over two years from the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, several candidates will be interviewed on their sports program. The French National Olympic and Sports Committee receives, from 10 a.m., Anne Hidalgo, Fabien Roussel, Yannick Jadot, then Valérie Pécresse, who will speak for twenty minutes each, in turn.
TV talk shows. As part of France 2’s political program “Elysée 2022”, the environmental candidate, Yannick Jadot, will debate with Eric Zemmour. Then the socialist Anne Hidalgo will face the boss of the deputies of La République en Marche, former member of the Socialist Party, Christophe Castaner.
