Al-Marsad Newspaper: Former Egyptian Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Emad El-Din, died after suffering a heart-related health crisis in a hospital in Nasr City.

The source explained, according to the Cairo 24 website, that Dr. Ahmed Emad El-Din was subjected to a health crisis, as a result of which it was decided to perform a heart catheterization operation at the hands of a cardiologist called (N.F). During the surgery, a medical error occurred that caused his death.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Ahmed Imad, the former Minister of Health and Population, assumed the ministerial portfolio in September 2015 until June 2018, with the ministerial change at that time.

Ahmed Imad was born on June 8, 1955, the same month in which he died and left his post at the Ministry of Health and Population.

Dr. Ahmed Emad is considered among the most famous orthopedic surgeons in Egypt, especially in the field of joint replacement, as he obtained a Bachelor of Medicine in 1985, a Master of Orthopedics in 1987, and a PhD in 1989.
