jpnn.comJAKARTA – Head of the Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection Agency (BP2MI) Benny Rhamdani inaugurated six additional ambulances, as a form of concern for Indonesian migrant workers.

On the same occasion, Benny Rhamdani also launched the Migran Press Room, to support members of the press regarding the issue of Indonesian workers.

“This step taken by BP2MI is proof that the state is here for the welfare of the families of Indonesian migrant workers,” said Benny Rhamdani, Tuesday (5/3).

According to Benny, this ambulance assistance was initiated by PT Taspen Indonesia.

Last year, he said, BP2MI launched four ambulances and this year it launched 16 ambulances again.

Benny admitted that he was targeting 23 ambulances to be alerted in each region in Indonesia.

“We have inaugurated four ambulances, assistance from Taspen because our budget at that time was limited. This year we procured 16, consisting of 10 in the regions and then six at the center,” said Head of BP2MI Benny Rhamdani.

On the same occasion, BP2MI also paid attention to members of the press through the inauguration of the Press Room in the BP2MI Building.
