The Russian analogue of “Wikipedia” – “Ruviki” – has become available for readers in the beta version, the Vedomosti correspondent was convinced. As indicated on the Ruviki website, almost 2 million articles in Russian are now posted on the portal.

“The beta version is working, we are changing the content, we are servicing technical issues. In fact, it did not start today, today it was just noticed. It has been working all weekend, this is a test mode, which we have included for testers so far, ”- told TASS General Director of ANO “Internet – Ruviki Encyclopedia” Vladimir Medeiko. According to him, the full launch of the portal is planned before the end of this month.

At the end of May, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Anton Gorelkin spoke about the creation of Ruvika. This is not the first analogue of Wikipedia. Last summer Gorelkin informed on the launch of the Russian analogue of “Wikipedia” – “Runiversalis”. Now encyclopedia “Runiversalis” available.
