The Islamist organization Hamas proposes a three-phase truce agreement that would include the release of the hostages kidnapped on October 7, as well as a complete withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza, according to a draft released at dawn.

The three phases would be 45 days each, and in the first, the hostages “women and children (under 19, non-military), the elderly and the sick, would be released in exchange for a specific number of Palestinian prisoners,” details the text via Telegram that was delivered on Tuesday night to the mediators from Qatar and Egypt.
