On November 5, two supermarkets of the Magnit retail chain in the Northern Administrative District of Moscow were sealed due to numerous violations of measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus. This is reported by the metropolitan department of Rospotrebnadzor.

On non-working days, the department strengthened control over the observance of anti-epidemic measures and, in particular, checked two stores on Zelenogradskaya and Petrozavodskaya streets.

Experts recorded numerous violations in them. For example, the stores did not monitor whether customers were wearing masks, and they also lacked their own stock of protective equipment. In addition, there were no air recirculators in the sales areas, and the frequency of cleaning and disinfection was not controlled. Other violations were also revealed.

As a result, cases of administrative violations were initiated and a decision was made to temporarily ban the operation of supermarkets. The main entrances to them are sealed. “The materials of the case have been prepared for transfer, respectively, to the Golovinsky and Koptevsky district courts of Moscow for a decision to suspend the operation of stores for up to 90 days,” the Rospotrebnadzor said.
