State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury has urged the Bangladesh Land Port Authority to achieve the satisfaction of traders by improving services and smooth import-export. The State Minister also advised the land port authorities to pay more attention to the implementation of any project and to make repeated field visits.

He made this call at an exchange meeting with officials and employees of the Bangladesh Land Port Authority at Agargaon in the capital on Thursday (February 8).

The state minister said, ‘There should be more attention in the implementation of the project. Discipline has to be there, there is no alternative. If discipline is not maintained, the program will collapse. Project managers have to make regular field visits for project implementation. Not only the project manager, but those of you who are there, whenever they go to the area; Enter visit comments on the chart. I want to see these comments.’
