Moscow Mayor’s Office to discuss with business the creation of zones for vaccinated against COVID-19 in a cafe

The Moscow authorities will discuss with business representatives the creation of zones for visitors vaccinated against coronavirus in city cafes and restaurants, Alexei Nemeryuk, head of the Moscow Department of Trade and Services, told reporters.

“The entrepreneurs themselves suggested it. We will discuss with them in the near future how they see this format, how it can be observed, whether they have enough strength, ”Nemeryuk said (quoted by Interfax).

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin suggested that Moscow entrepreneurs create zones in restaurants for visitors vaccinated against coronavirus. State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Viktor Yevtukhov said that the Ministry of Industry and Trade would discuss this idea. The head of the Main Control Department of the capital, Yevgeny Danchikov, suggested that in the future such zones may appear in public places of the city.

According to the operational headquarters, as of June 11, 5,853 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Moscow over the past day, 3,061 people recovered, 60 died. In total, more than 1.2 million cases of infection and over 20 thousand deaths have been registered in the city. In terms of daily growth and the total number of cases of coronavirus, Moscow ranks first among the regions of Russia.
