VEB.RF, Turizm.RF, Interros and Vasta Discovery signed an agreement on the creation of an all-season mountain resort Dolina Vasta in Sochi. The signing ceremony took place at the SPIEF.
“We are facing an ambitious task – to create a world-class resort. The Dolina Vasta resort will essentially become a continuation of Rosa Khutor and will harmoniously complement the existing infrastructure of the entire mountain cluster of Sochi, ”said Vasta Discovery CEO Sergei Bachin.
To implement the project, the parties to the agreement will create a joint project company. The total investment in the project will be approximately 80 billion rubles.
The tourist infrastructure within the project is planned to be created within the next four years – until 2025. It is expected that the Vasta Valley complex will provide 2.5 thousand new jobs (together with related services – up to 5 thousand), and the tourist flow will be 1.5 million guests a year.
The roles of the parties to the agreement in the project are distributed as follows: Dolina Vasta will prepare design estimates and obtain ownership rights, Interros will act as an investor, and Tourism.RF will be a co-investor. VEB.RF will review the project.
