Nobody would have thought that I would act in a film criticizing the Centre: Gokul Suresh

Last day, Saiyah Sambari, directed by Arun Chandu under the banner of U14 Entertainments and starring Gokul Suresh, Dhyan Srinivasan, Aju Varghese and Indrans, hit the theaters.

Dhyan Srinivasan plays the role of a journalist in the film.
Actors including Gokul Suresh and Dhyan met the media yesterday as part of the film’s promotion.

Gokul Suresh has clarified the reason for doing evening news. The film is made in the style of a political satire related to the fraud of the job offer.

Gokul says that he likes political satire in general and after watching the film, he will understand who is being criticized in it, and he thinks that everyone knows where he is coming from and he will not do this when he looks at it.

Gokul Suresh adds that no one would have thought that he would act in a film criticizing the Centre.

‘I like political satire a lot. If you watch the movie, you will understand who is being criticized in this. I don’t care who criticizes, I don’t care if I relate to where I come from and so on, everyone think I won’t do this.

Nobody would have thought that I would act in a film that criticizes the Centre,’ says Gokul.

When asked if he had told his father (Suresh Gopi) that the film was critical of the state, Gokul says that he did not tell his father, that he does not interfere in anything like that, and that his father would not ask him why he criticized his father’s party.

“If there is integrity in what is being done, my father does not interfere like that, and my father does not ask why I did the story criticizing my father’s party,” says Gokul.

Meanwhile, the Joshi-Suresh Gopi film Pappan, in which Gokul played the lead role, is continuing its run with good response. The film collected Rs 17 crores in just one week.
