300 multiple rocket launchers, 500 tanks, 1,000 howitzers and drones, and 2,000 armored vehicles are just a few of the weapons Kyiv has on its list. It was published a few days ago by the Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhailo Podoliak on the Twitter news service.
Ukraine is again demanding more heavy weapons – and as soon as possible. According to their military leadership, they have only received a tenth of the necessary arms aid from abroad, Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maljar recently criticized on Ukrainian television.
Russia is infinitely superior in armament and number of soldiers. Ukraine fires 5,000 to 6,000 artillery shells a day, Russia about ten times as many, Maljar said. “No matter how Ukraine tries, no matter how professional our army is, we will not be able to win this war without the help of partners.”
